How we check every enquiry

Our readers trust what they read here, so every company and every article is checked before anything is published.

1. The company is real and registered. We check the company name and registration number against Malaysian company records (SSM). Sole proprietors and enterprise registrations are welcome, as long as the registration is valid.
2. The address and phone number match. They must be consistent with the company's own website and its public listings. A mailbox-only address or a number nobody answers will hold up the enquiry.
3. The website is genuine and safe. It must load, clearly belong to the same business, and be free of malware, cloaking or spam redirects.
4. The contact person really works there. We reply to the company email address, and may ask for a quick confirmation from a company account or phone number.
5. The article benefits readers. It must be original, accurate, written in clear English, and genuinely useful to people living in Malaysia. Content that is only an advert, or that is thin, spun or copied, is rejected.
6. Claims are supportable. Prices, statistics, awards and legal or medical claims need a source. We do not publish guaranteed-returns, miracle-cure or other claims we cannot support.
7. Some topics are NOT accepted. Gambling, adult content, illegal money lending, counterfeit goods, hacking services, fake documents, and anything unlawful in Malaysia.

We may ask for supporting documents, such as your SSM registration certificate or a company letterhead. Enquiries we cannot verify are not published, and we may decline any enquiry without giving a reason. Every paid or sponsored article is clearly labelled, in line with Malaysian advertising rules.
